General English Language Course
GE1 is our standard morning English course. Adults, teenagers and children study in separate age groups, with lessons designed for their age and English level.
GE1
Who is the course for?
GE1 is suitable for students who want to develop their general English through morning group lessons. It covers listening, speaking, reading and writing, with particular emphasis on oral communication.
No minimum English level is required. Adult and teenage classes range from beginner to advanced, subject to placement and availability. Children’s lessons are adapted to their age and ability.
Our placement process helps us select a suitable class. Adults, teenagers and children aged 7–12 take a placement test; children aged 4–6 do not take a formal entry test.
Teaching locations
Adults: the main school on Muckross Road, beside Killarney National Park.
Children aged 4–12: Kidzone, in a separate teaching space on the same site.
Teenagers aged 13–17: our teenage school in Lissivigeen, Killarney.
See our school locations. Your arrival information will confirm where to attend.
