Adult Combined English Course
GE2A combines morning General English group classes with individual afternoon tuition. It is for adults who want to study with a group and receive focused one-to-one help.

Two complementary parts
Group English and one-to-one tuition.
Morning group classes
15 hours per week
General English covering speaking, listening, reading and writing, with particular emphasis on oral communication. You study with adults at a suitable English level.
Afternoon individual lessons
5 hours per week
One-to-one English tuition adapted to your learning needs. You can focus on particular language skills, areas of difficulty or agreed professional requirements.
Total: 20 hours per week · €550 per person, per week. Accommodation and airport transfers are additional.
Who is GE2A for?
This adults-only course is suitable for students who want the interaction of group lessons alongside individual help with specific aspects of their English.
No minimum English level is required. Morning group classes range from beginner to advanced, subject to suitable placement and availability. A placement test helps us choose the right group for you.
Teaching location
Both group and one-to-one lessons take place at our main school on Muckross Road, beside Killarney National Park.

Your one-to-one lessons
Focus on your English needs.
Individual lessons can be planned around your goals. Tell us what you would like to work on before booking so we can discuss suitable content and teacher availability.
- Specific areas of speaking, listening, reading or writing
- Language difficulties you would like to address
- English for agreed professional contexts, such as law, medicine, hotels and catering, or tourism

Monday to Friday
Daily timetable.
The standard morning timetable provides 15 hours of group English each week.
2:00–3:00pm · One-to-one English
One hour of individual tuition each weekday gives a total of five hours per week. The school will confirm your final timetable before arrival.

Fees & inclusions
€550 per person, per week.
The course price includes:
- 15 hours of morning General English group tuition
- 5 hours of afternoon one-to-one tuition

- An information pack on arrival
- School bus transport within Killarney
- Wi-Fi and internet access
- A certificate of attendance and achievement on completion
- Free bike rental, on a first-come, first-served basis

- Arrival collection from Killarney’s train or bus station, arranged in advance
