We can arrange a host-family stay and help you explore other accommodation options.

Five ways to stay
Which option suits you?
Think about how much independence you want, whether you are travelling alone or with family, and the facilities you need. Each accommodation page has more information and useful links.
Irish life and English practice
Host families / Homestay
Stay with a local host family and use your English in everyday conversations outside school. This option can suit students who value a welcoming home environment and an introduction to Irish family life.
Tell us about dietary needs, allergies and any family requirements before booking so we can discuss suitable arrangements.
Independence and space for families
Self-catering
Choose a house, cottage or apartment, with the freedom to prepare your own meals and organise your stay. Self-catering can suit families, groups and students planning a longer stay.
We can help with recommendations and discuss booking assistance. Check the location, facilities and availability for your dates.
Comfort and a choice of facilities
Hotels
Hotels can suit individuals, couples and families who prefer the convenience of hotel services. Choose according to your preferred location, room arrangements and facilities.
We can suggest options to consider and help you find accommodation appropriate to your stay.
A smaller place to stay
Guest houses / B&Bs
Guest houses and bed-and-breakfast accommodation offer an alternative to a larger hotel. They can suit students who want their own room and a more personal setting.
Check which meals and facilities are included. We can help with recommendations.
A budget-conscious option for adults
Hostels
Hostels can help younger adults and other students keep accommodation costs down. They can also provide a short initial stay while you look for a longer-term option.
Compare shared and private rooms, facilities and booking conditions. A hostel booking does not guarantee that longer-term accommodation will become available.
