Time to enjoy Ireland

You don’t have to study to join the holiday.

If your children are taking classes and you would prefer not to study, you are very welcome. Use that time to walk in the National Park, play golf, visit historic sites or explore the Kerry, Dingle and Beara Peninsulas.

We are happy to share local advice and help you make the most of your visit.

Meet the people behind the school

Local roots.
A personal approach.

We are Nicola and Feargal, the married couple who own and run Killarney School of English. As a small, independent family school, we take a personal interest in your learning and your wellbeing.

Feargal’s family has lived in Killarney for at least 200 years, with four generations welcoming visitors to the town. His father and grandfather both drove the traditional jaunting cars — the horse-drawn carriages you will see around Killarney.

Nicola is from England. Before moving to Killarney, she headed the English as a Foreign Language department at the University of Buckingham. She brings that experience to her role as our Director of Studies.

Whatever kind of stay you have in mind, we would be delighted to help you plan it. Tell us about your interests, your goals and any questions you have. We want your time here to be happy, rewarding and memorable.

We look forward to meeting you!

Best wishes,
Nicola & Feargal
