Glengarriff, The Ewe Sculpture Park & Garnish Island

Glengarriff is a small village in West Cork set on the shores of Bantry Bay. The bus journey takes about an hour and a half. The area is renowned for its beautiful flora and fauna and is home to the famous Hollywood film star, Maureen O’ Hara. You will be collected from your usual bus stops at about 10am. Watch the main notice board for exact times.
The Ewe Sculpture Park
This is Ireland’s only interactive sculpture garden and is fantastic fun for all ages. Set along a pretty waterfall, you can explore winding pathways and hidden corners and discover a surprises at every turn. We will spend about an hour here.
Glengarriff Village
You will have an hour to explore the shops, eat lunch or enjoy a Guinness in one of the local pubs. The bus will then take us on the short trip to the harbour.
Garnish Island
We’ll take a short boat trip to stunning Garnish Island. Its particularly mild climate means that unique vegetation thrives in this area and Garnish Island attracts thousands of visitors every year. We will spend a couple of hours on the island before the return boat journey. We will be back in Killarney by 5pm.
