Adult Afternoon Activities / Social Programme

The adult activity programme tends to have more of a nature and cultural focus. It includes visits to Killarney National Park Muckross House, Abbey and gardens; Ross Castle and a boat trip out to Inisfallen Island; Muckross Traditional Farms. In addition, there are weekly walks and cycles around the National Park, half-day trips to the neighbouring towns of Kenmare and Tralee; and traditional music and Irish dancing lessons.

The activity programme also includes day trips on Saturdays to:

Day Trip to Glengarriff boat trip over to Garnish Island; a paradise of gardens and tropical plants.
Day Trip to the quaint picturesque town of Dingle; boat trip to see Fungi the dolphin with its magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean
Day Trip to Kenmare and Star Sailing cruise into Kenmare Bay to see the grey seals and other unique wildlife
Sightseeing visit to Cork including trip to the famous English Market.
