Garda Vetting

 

Dear Host family,

This year, new regulations mean that EVERY adult and person aged between 16 and 18 residing in a host house requires Garda-Vetting.  Even if you have already been vetted for another organisation, it is non-transferable, so you will have to apply again by providing the following:

 

• Completed Garda-Vetting-NVB-1-Vetting-Invitation for each adult (over 18). Please use full signature, no initials.  The role being vetted for is host parent.

 

• Garda Vetting NVB-3-Parent-Guardian-Consent-Form-1   The Parent/Guardian Consent form is for persons between the ages of 16 and 18.

 

• Copies of 2 or 3 forms of identification in line with ‘Garda-Vetting-100-point-checklist for each person completing a form. E.g. A passport is 70 points and a birth certificate is 50 points so therefore acceptable as it reaches the 100 point requirement.

 

• An email address is necessary as you will be contacted by email to complete a full Garda Vetting form.  Please keep an eye on your emails as you will have only one month to do this.
